Amal Abadi-Biscaino is the Founder and Director of Abadi-Biscaino Consultancy. Born in Taizz, Yemen, Amal immigrated to the USA with her parents at the age of ten.

As a Professor of Science, Amal has over twenty years of experience teaching students from elementary to college level in New York City.
As an Assistant Principal, Amal has transformed academic departments from Science and Visual Arts to Languages Other Than English, facilitating exciting initiatives with partners including NYU and the Food Network.
As a Consultant and Specialist, Amal has advised the DOE and the City of New York under Michael Bloomberg on international and ELL student support, and facilitated compliancy trainings for hundreds of NYC teachers.
Amal is also a philanthropist, and founder of Madrasa al-Medina, a bilingual school for girls in Taizz, Yemen.
She holds a Masters in Education Administration and Technology from Adelphi University, New York, a Masters in Teaching English as a Second Language also from Adelphi, and a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Math from St. Francis College, Brooklyn.
Amal lives with her husband and two daughters in Cobble Hill, Brooklyn.
